Artist Statement
 

Op (or Optical) Art, repeat dark and light patterns, uses the viewers iris to create movement, opening to dark and closing to light. Without the viewer there is no action. I revert to this style when I feel the desire to draw with tools (triangles, tee-square, Rapidograph pens).

Sketch books. Doodling is akin to daydreaming, hand separated from mind without regard for quality or result. I draw on everything. WATCH OUT!
